L'Academy milanese del Cavallo al Summit Internazionale di Parigi: "La qualità dei film è l'ingrediente base dei film festival di tutto il mondo."
Il direttore e fondatore dei MIFF Awards Andrea Galante, parteciperà come oratore all' International Film Festival Summit Europe che si terrà a Parigi il 3 e il 4 aprile 2012. Quest'evento, giunto ormai alla sua sesta edizione, è un punto di riferimento per tutti coloro che operano all'interno dell'industria dei film festival. L'IFFS Europe quest'anno ospiterà più di 100 direttori e professionisti di film festival provenienti da tutto il mondo che avranno l'occasione di confrontarsi e condividere le loro esperienze per meglio comprendere le ultime tendenze nel settore del cinema indipendente. Insieme a Giorgio Gosetti (programmatore del Reykjavic Film Festival e direttore dei Venice Days alla Mostra di Venezia), il fondatore del MIFF Awards, interverrà in un dibattito relativo al processo di selezione dei film e alle linee guida per la programmazione di un film festival. Andrea Galante si dichiara molto onorato per l'invito e commenta così la sua partecipazione al Summit: "È la quarta volta che partecipo a questo summit, l'unico evento internazionale di operatori del nostro settore, e sono onorato del loro invito. La partecipazione di Milano all'IFFS, conferma le potenzialità del premio cinematografico milanese e la sua posizione leader tra i film festival italiani e i numerosi eventi cinematografici di tutto il mondo. Un prestigio costruito dal nostro team nell'arco di 12 anni con determinazione e passione per l'argomento, e soprattutto con grande integrità nella scelta dei titoli che poi hanno fatto la storia del Cavallo di Leonardo nell'ambiente dei filmmakers internazionali". |
Milan's Leonardo's Academy in Paris at IFFS: "It's the quality of the movies the basic ingredient for a film festival."
The founder and director of MIFF Awards, Andrea Galante, is going to participate as guest speaker at the International Film Festival Summit Europe that will be held in Paris on the 3rd and 4th of April 2012. This event, now at its sixth edition, represents a milestone for everyone involved in the film festival industry. This year, the IFFS Europe will welcome over 100 directors and film festival pros from all over the world to share and discuss experiences and best practices in order to highlight the last trends in the independent movies arena. Together with Giorgio Gosetti (programmer at the Reykjavik Film Festival and director of Venice Days during the Venice Film Festival), Andrea Galante will participate to a debate concerning the process of movies selection and the guidelines for programming a film festival. The founder of Miff Awards states his satisfaction for the invitations and comments his participation to the Summit: " This is the fourth time I have been invited to this meeting, the sole international event for pros of our sector and I am honoured for this opportunity. The participation of Milan at the IFFS confirms the potential for our cinematographic award and its leading position among the Italian film festivals and the manifold events all over the world. This eminent status has been built by our team over 12 years of determination and passion for the subject, and especially by the integrity in the choices of movies that have made the history of the Leonardo's Horse in the field of international filmmakers". |

MIFF Style & BizzArt: rinnovata l'unione moda-cinema al MIFF Awards 2012
MIFF Awards, anche quest'anno, crea un momento di unione tra la moda e il cinema con il concorso MIFF Style offrendo a giovani artisti emergenti una vetrina d'eccezione nel fashion business grazie alla presenza, durante la serata, di personaggi del jet set cinematografico, della moda e dello spettacolo. Con la sua prima sfilata durante la premiazione di MIFF 2001 al Teatro Dal Verme, il Film Festival Internazionale di Milano ha aperto ufficialmente i battenti del concorso da 5 anni. Una competizione di pura creatività, con l'obiettivo di realizzare un ponte tra la moda e il cinema, MIFF Style - Take 1, quest'anno, in collaborazione con BizzArt, punta a coinvolgere l'ambiente dei giovani stilisti internazionali. "BizzArt ha l'obiettivo di promuovere giovani designer e brand emergenti, mettendo in luce la creatività e la qualità del made in italy. Grazie alla collaborazione con MIFF Style i nostri artisti avranno la possibilità di partecipare ad un contest d'alto livello che permetterà loro di ottenere un'importante vetrina di respiro internazionale" sostiene Isabella Sferrazza di BizzArt. Tiziana Fanelli, responsabile del concorso, commenta: "Vogliamo che la creatività continui ad emozionare e soprattutto a tenere in stretto contatto due settori in perfetta sintonia come la moda e il cinema. Il concorso MIFF Style Take 1 rappresenta l'occasione per far sfilare abiti da red carpet creati da designer emergenti in un esclusivo evento come la cerimonia di premiazione del Cavallo di Leonardo a Milano". |
MIFF Style & BizzArt: the fashion-cinema link breaths again at 2012 MIFF Awards
MIFF Awards, this year again, creates a moment of union between fashion and cinema with MIFF Style competition. Through this happening, the MIFF provides the artists with a unique showcase thanks to the attendance to the soirée by pros of the cinematographic, the fashion and the show business worlds. After its debut at Teatro del Verme in 2001, the Milan International Film Festival has officially sustained this competition for 5 years. A contest of pure creativity, with the goal of creating a bridge between fashion and cinema, MIFF Style - Take 1, this year in cooperation with BizzArt aims at the circle of young international stylists. "Bizzart's objective is to promote young designers and emerging brands, highlighting the creativity and quality of the made-in-Italy. Thanks to the partnership with MIFF Style, our artists will have the chance to participate in a high level contest which will offer them an important showcase with an international appeal" states Isabella Sferrazza from BizzArt. Tiziana Fanelli, in charge of the initiative, comments: "We want creativity to keep on fostering emotions and especially to maintain a tight union between two perfectly harmonized sectors as fashion and cinema. Miff Style Take 1 represents the opportunity to display red carpet's dresses by emerging designers in a glamorous event as the prize-giving ceremony of the Leonardo's Horse in Milan". |
