I film candidati al Cavallo di Leonardo alla Manifattura Tabacchi, insieme al CSC e alla Cineteca!
A partire dal 29 marzo fino al 23 aprile 2012, sarà il MIC (Museo Interattivo del Cinema) alla Manifattura Tabacchi ad ospitare quest'anno le proiezioni dei film e documentari candidati al Cavallo di Leonardo. Sede anche del Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Milano e della Fondazione Cineteca di Milano, la visione dei film al MIC in anteprima sarà riservata esclusivamente ai membri dell'accademia milanese MIMIFS che decreteranno i vincitori in ogni categoria. Il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia è la più importante istituzione italiana di insegnamento, ricerca e sperimentazione nel campo della cinematografia; la Fondazione Cineteca Italiana svolge dal 1947 un'ininterrotta attività di conservazione e valorizzazione del patrimonio cinematografico italiano. |
Candidates for the Leonardo's Horse at Manifattura Tabacchi, in collaboration with CSC and Cineteca!
From March 29 to April 23 2012, MIC (Interactive Cinema Museum) at Manifattuira Tabacchi will be the Venue of the Leonardo's Horse Nominations Screenings. Headquarters of CSC ( Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia) and Fondazione Cineteca Italiana, the screenings will be accessible only to MIMIFS members (the Milanese Academy) they will vote 2012 winners in each category. Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia is the most important Italian institution for studies in the cinematographic arena; Fondazione Cineteca Italiana develops the preservation of Italian Cinema Heritage since 1947. |

Academy Awards 2012: congratulazioni all'italiano Dante Ferretti e ad Alexander Payne, ospite della 2° edizione del MIFF.
Lo scorso 26 febbraio si è svolta l'84° edizione della cerimonia degli Oscar al Kodak Theatre di Los Angeles. Tra i numerosi professionisti del cinema che hanno realizzato il sogno di stringere tra le mani la preziosa statuetta riteniamo doveroso fare le congratulazioni al nostro connazionale Dante Ferretti (vincitore per la terza volta dell'Oscar per la migliore scenografia per il film Hugo Cabret diretto da Martin Scorsese). Un'altra menzione speciale va ad Alexander Payne, regista del film Paradiso Amaro ( The Descendants) con George Clooney, che si è aggiudicato il premio per la Miglior Sceneggiatura non originale. Alexander Payne ha partecipato alla seconda edizione dei MIFF nel 2001 con la fidanzata Sandra Oh - ora ex-moglie - vincitrice del Cavallo di Leonardo come Miglior Attrice Protagonista del film Dancing at the Blue Iguana del regista Michael Radford ( Il Postino e Il Mercante di Venezia). |

On February the 26 th, the Academy Awards took place in the famous Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. Among the pros achieving their dream to be holding the glamorous statuette in their hands, it is our pleasure to congratulate our countryman Dante Ferretti, third time winner of the Oscar for Best Production Design in Hugo Cabret by Martin Scorsese. Spotlights on Alexander Payne too, director of Paradiso Amaro with George Clooney, who achieved the award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Payne participated to the 2001 edition of MIFF with his fiancée Sandra Oh (winner of the Leonardo's Horse as Best Actress in Dancing at the Blue Iguana by Michael Radford ( Il postino and The merchant of Venice). |
