RED DOORS tells the story of the Wongs, a bizarrely dysfunctional Chinese-American family living in the New York suburbs. Ed Wong has just retired and plots to escape his
mundane life. However, the tumultuous, madcap lives of his three rebellious daughters change his plans.
Georgia Lee has directed five short films. Her first two shorts, "The Big Dish: Tiananmen '89", and "Bloom", have shown at numerous film festivals. In 2000 she was selected by director Martin Scorsese to serve as his apprentice on the set of "Gangs of New York" in Rome. Her short film "Educated" won the "Best Short Film" award at The Durango Film Festival in 2003. In 2004, Georgia completed two more short films, "Basic Emotions" and "Diagnosis". She was awarded a Film Fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts in 2003.
