AMERICANO takes advantage of the wonderful backdrop of the country’s centuries-old Fiesta de San Fermin, The Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. Chris McKinley, a recent college graduate backpacking through Europe, savours his last three days of freedom before boarding the career-fasttrack back in the US. While in Pamplona Chris rethinks his life.
AMERICANO tackles some universal questions: what will we do with the rest of our lives? Which paths shall we take? Chris struggles with an age-old question – should he follow the beaten path or risk it all on the road less travelled?
Working in production for television and commercials, he produced “Cold Hearts” and “Crossing Chords”. He directed the Arthur Miller play “Death of a Salesman”. Kevin is currently developing his second feature with his brother centred on actual event in the Middle East.
