Christian, ten-years-old, on the day of his baptism, reveals to father Siro he saw Archangels cleaning Jesus face from wounds of human sufferings. Fifteen years later Christian is a Philosophy student at University of Milan. He is esteemed, rich and transgressive, but he suffers from total detachement from humanity. He’s crushed by the silence of a God that entered his life for a moment to disappear immediately afterwards. He wants only to destroy. Father Siro coming back in his life, however, will make a new beginning for him: a journey towards extreme love and madness.
Biografia Autore
Simone Scafidi (1978) realized short and feature films presented at Milano Film Festival and Torino Film Festival. Among all Cos’è l’amore (What is love), still on tour together with Franco Branciaroli’s homonym show, with the photography of Sergio Salvati. He is now graduating with a thesis on Jesus figure in cinema, and he’s animating Sesto S.Giovanni cine-club. He has filmed many commercials and videos for ‘Max’ magazine and now is cooperating with the production of ‘Kali yuga colossal’, a documentary film.
