Taking Guns from Boys is a documentary about a tiny West African nation, Liberia, ripped apart by a brutal civil war. Liberian President, indicted by an international court for war crimes, has just fled the country, creating an opportunity for Liberia to rebuild itself. Thanks to the intervention of General Opanda, a United Nations member, the country begins to raise from chaos.
In 2003 produced a documentary for the Asia Foundation’s 50th anniversary. She produced No More War, documentary on Opanda, aired on Frontline. In 2006 produced Who Killed the Electric Car?, feature premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2006.
