Three men are travelling from Puglia to Basilicata. Fajele, the eldest brother,is getting married to a girl who lives in a village famous for its misfortune. His younger brother Nicola and his father, a 70-year-old man, who has just had an heart operation, are travelling along.
Michele Bia has directed and produced several theater plays and he is the founder and director of the Theater Center “Teatroscalo” in Modugno, Bari. For cinema he has written and directed ‘Un’ora di straordinario’, ‘I sette a Tebe’ and ‘I lavoratori’. In 2006 he has written and directed ‘Meridionali senza filtro’.
