His first feature script, directed by Marc Evans and produced by Warner Bros/Little Bird/BBC Films, was awarded at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2006 Smith has directed his film debut: Mono and now is writing the feature script, Big Deal, with Celador Films and Auntie Rita with SMG.
