Born in 1966, he is writer, director, actor and professor at La Femis in Paris. He began his carreer shooting the feature film Les enfants volants and the telefilm La Vie Crevée, which won him a nomination for the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival. Fascinated by thrillers and by Jean-Pierre Melville’s noir films, he directed Le Poulpe and subsequently, Une Affaire privée, a noir film appriciated by critics. The Key is his latest film.
