Peter Vas is a 35 year old star broker. He has one day and one night to get back an enormous sum missing from his biggest client's account. It might be enough time, since markets in the Far East open before the sun comes up in Europe. But can he win this high stakes gamble and resolve his potentially catastrophic personal issues over the course of 24 hours?

He was born in 1971. He studied film history at the University of Esztergom between 1991-1995. Five years later he graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Drama and Film as a film director. His diploma film „Moscow Square” won the Best Film Prize and Audience Prize at the 32nd Hungarian Film Week. Torok's second feature film „Eastern Sugar” brings Best Supporting Actor Prize (Ervin Nagy) and becomes the „People's Choice via Internet” at the Hungarian Film Week in 2004. „Overnight” is his most recent work.
