In 1974 15 year-old Charlie Otero comes home from school finding his family brutally murdered. Fearing the executioner, Charlie moves to New Mexico. Eventually, he ends up in prison and learns that the killer of his family is the strangler BTK (Bind, Torture and Kill).The film brings to light the mystery of the BTK Strangler.
Marc Levitz began his filmmaking career three years ago. Attracted to films shot by hand held cameras, actual locations, a relatively small budget and real people, Levitz felt compelled to explore the humanity behind today’s glossier media by diving into one of history’s most fascinating serial killer tales.
