During World War II, Lydia, half Jew, lives in Innsbruck. She feels in love with Klaus Jochen. Because of her daring temperament, she gets arrested by the Gestapo. In prison, she finds out she is pregnant. Later she gets out of prison, but her life is still a “hard nut to crack”: Klaus is half Jew and he is hiding from the Nazis…
Born in 1962 in Austria, acted in about 50, mostly Italian films, such as “Ginger and Fred” (1986) and Tea with Mussolini (1999). He is also the producer of 3 feature films: „Die Virtuellen“, an Austrian - Italian Co-Production (1996), „Zwei Kinogesichter“ (1998) and „Die Skrupellosen.com“ (2003) and first time director of “Meine Tante Lydia”.
