Francesca del Sette, generously supported by Veronica Mona and her production company Oblomov Films, follows the tracks of Carlo Lizzani through the years of his career by linking his cinematic operas to interviews of people he worked with and memories told by Carlo himself. She portrays Lizzani, director, screenwriter and cultural operator as a bridge between the old and the new in Italian cinema.
Born in 1972 in Rome, Francesca del Sette worked as a journalist and in various positions in the film business.. “Pop Corn" (2002) was her first short film, followed by numerous documentaries. Her second short “L’unica testimone" premiered at MIFF 2006.
