A thirty-year-old post-modern man, he calls himself “Hikikomori” in virtual communities, referring to the condition associated in Japan to heremite and semi-borderline adolescents. His daily routine is totally changed thanks to an accidental meeting with a girl on the underground: they glance at each other and the encounter will slowly bring him to emerge from everyday life.
