Cast Antonio Del Prete, Dree Hemingway, Simon Rex, Michael Azria, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Ivan Shaw, Candice Accola, Velinda Godfrey

Struggling painter, Pablo Scelta (Antonio Del Prete), is at odds with his wife, Anna (Monique Curnen), who feels he’s not participating in the raising of their baby girl. At the start of the story Pablo gets a call from movie-star best friend, Kane Connor (Simon Rex), inviting him to a Hollywood party. Pablo jumps at the chance of escaping his home duties and goes. After picking up Pablo in his limo, Kane stops to pick up Ben G (Michael Azria), a Hollywood hipster who takes them to an exclusive party in an isolated Malibu mansion. Outside, Pablo sees a beautiful girl, Kristi (Dree Hemingway), and is instantly attracted to her. Later in the night, a drunken Pablo runs into Kristi again and is about to cheat on his wife when the reality that she’s young enough to be his daughter hits him. When Kristi starts acting strangely, Pablo suspects that she’s been drugged and that Ben G is the culprit. Becoming immediately protective of the girl, Pablo goes with Kristi to find somewhere for her to recover, only to lose her en route. A frantic search of the party ensues, but by the time Pablo finds her again she’s already been raped. Things come to a head when Pablo tries getting the injured girl to the hospital only to discovers that no one at the party is willing to put their neck on the line to help her and that he may be putting his own life in jeopardy...

Her psychological thriller The Left Hand was the 1st runner up at the Hollywood Black Film Festival. Most recently she was a fellow in Bill Cosby’s “Guy A. Hanks & Marvin H. As a writer-director Lichelli’s short film Fact or Fiction was a finalist in the DGA Minority Directing Awards. Her last short, Stranded, was the 1st runner up at the Junior Hollywood Radio and Television Society Film Festival and screened at the Palm Springs International Festival of Shorts and Market and at the Director’s Cut in NYC. Stranded was Lichelli’s first time working with Antonio Del Prete and its success enabled them to finance The Truth about Angels.
