The Great Magician Tulan travels the desiccate desert roads accompanied by his wife, Marta. Along the way, they are joined by Jenifer, who is on her way to Chile for a sex change operation, the dwarf Tachuelita, trevekling twin nuns and the beautiful Martita.Each has their own personal objective. Yet at times they come together as a group where radical decisions, misunderstanding and rejections all intertwine in their personal relationship. In this vast, lonely and neglected world, each one of them searches for their personal horizon. Some find it, others do not.
Born in 1971 in Tucuman, Argentina Luis Sampieri studied photography at the University of Tucuman. He has exhibited his photographs at various exhibitions and has participated in several film workshops, including script-writing, direction, production and acting. He has worked as assistant director and has directed a series of shorts for MTV, music videos, documentaries and short-films. La Maquina del Humo (The Smoke Machine) was his first medium-length film, which has participated in several international shorts festivals. Cabecita Rubia (Lost Horizon) is his first feature length film.
