A woman desperately searching for her missing child begins to embark on a journey of memories that leads to questions and possible suggestions for reconciling with her dying mother. Hanaya, is a poetic meditation of death, remoteness and love that is captured in agonizingly prolonged silence.
Biografia Autore
Born in 1973 in Seoul, Korea, Lee studied painting until her move to the US. In 1997, she began making films at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is currently studying directing at New York University. Hanaya is her debut film.
