Our non profit cultural association MADE IN MILAN International Film Society (MIMIFS) considers TV a crucial means of communication whose main goal is not only to inform but to entertain as well. The Association’s objective is to highlight the TV art as a synergy of effort of a number of talented individuals, dedicated to various disciplines, who contribute to the creation and visualisation of Italian TV productions. The MIMIFS Award, the Leonardo’s Horse, honours artists and performers who have accomplished laudable and exceptional results in their respective fields.
The MIFF Programming Committee, together with the MIMIFS Board of Directors, select candidates for the main prize among the TV productions of the previous year (as per Article 3 of the MIFF Awards Rules and Regulation). The winner is awarded with the Leonardo’s Horse, a reproduction of the famous horse statue designed by Leonardo Da Vinci, which is assigned every year at the MIFF Award Ceremony or at other MIMIFS events held during the year.
