Synopsis
Young Europe tells 3 stories of young Europeans: Federico and Annalisa, who make friends with a 35 year old that still makes the life of the boy; Julian, the promise of basketball, engaged to the sweet Sarah, but in love with his Spanish teacher, and Josephine, beautiful and rich girl, subject to any kind of addiction. The background to their personal affairs are France, Italy, Ireland and Slovenia. The lives of the characters are intertwined in the tragedy that affects more than 100 people a day throughout Europe: road accidents. This issue is explored in a new way that questions about the causes, exploring the theme of parent-child, adult-young, investigating family relationships and society. "Young Europe" is an intense and innovative movie about young, and for young but suitable for all levels of interpretation.

Director - Matteo Vicino
He likes to challenge himself in different fields: writing, music, photography and cinema. After his debut as entertainer and comician, he lands in the world of theater with the Italian Government national production "Spettacolo Icaro", to sensibilize young people on road safety. This show was staged in 85 Italian theaters with over a thousand reruns. From this first positive experience, "Young Europe" project was born - a novel by Aliberti Editore - and the homonymous movie written and directed by Matteo. He cohoperates full time with the Italian Road Police Department, the Internal Affairs Ministry and the Education Ministry, as educator for young people through artistic creations. He received a special prize at Giffoni Film Festivaal 2008 for short feature "Icaro Report". As a musician, he performed several national and international tours. He is a professional photographer and authors of many shorts in the fashion field; all experiences converging to his next cinematographic task. Matteo Vicino has also been funder and director of Showbiz Agency(located in Bologna and London) in the last 8 years.

Synopsis
Set in the world of finance, Margin Call is a thriller involving the key man of an investment bank during the dramatic 24 hourse before 2008 financial crisis. When Peter Sullivan (Zachary Quinto), simple analyst, comes into possesion of infos taht could destroy the company, a run against the time begins: financial and moral decision at stake will upset the lives of all people involved dragging them to the edge of the abyss. Widening the boundaries of this genre, Margin Call is a fascinating analysis of the human aspect of a subject too often not examined objectively. With a cast involving stars as Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Stanley Tucci and Demi Moore, writer/director J.C.Chandor's first movie is an authentic and sharp portrait of finance and its representatives, in the moment of decisions concerning the future of everyone.

After his 15 years of directing, producing and writing documentaries and advertisements, Chandor has refined his subtle but characteristic narrative style in his first feature film. He is currently under contract with Warner Bros for the script of two films, the first of whom is a thriller developed by Appian Way, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Kiloran, that DiCaprio himself could be starring in. Chandor graduated in America Studies and Film Studies at College of Wooster in Ohio and studied cinematographic production at New York University. Grown in New York and London's suburbs, he now lives in Providence with his wife, paintress Cameron Goodyear, and their 5 years daughter and 6 months son.
