Chuck Parker
Chuck Parker is a multi-talented American Production Designer who was born in the South, raised in the Midwest and lives in Los Angeles with his wife, children and their many animals. He studied Fine Arts Photography at Indiana University with Henry Holmes Smith, a protégé of Lazlo Moholy-Nagy, from whom he received his education in the Bauhaus aesthetic. Chuck spent a few years working as an Art Director for well-known Hollywood Production Designers Joseph C. Nemec and Laurence Bennett before branching out on his own as a Production Designer for one- hour episodic television. He has designed numerous television projects for Paul Haggis as well as the pilot of the ground-breaking FX series “Nip/Tuck” for Ryan Murphy. He had the good fortune to design the award-winning USA series “Monk”, starring Tony Shaloub, for which he also directed the finale episode to Season 7. More recently, he designed “Have A Little Faith” for Jon Avnet and The Hallmark Hall Of Fame, and the fourth season of the CW series “90210”. It was a commonality of family experiences from World War II, shared with the director Kate Connor, that drew him to the project “Fort McCoy”.
