Ovidiu Marginean
Ovidiu Marginean , Romanian D.o.p., was born in the Transilvanian town Reghin in 1973 and graduated from the National Film University in Bucharest in 2002. Started the filmworking as camera operator in features film for Romanian directors (eg. Mircea Daneliuc and Calin Peter Netzer) and doing camera operating and second unit d.o.p. for international productions shot in Romania, with stars as Bob Hoskins, Olivier Martinez, Dominic Purcell and Steaven Seagal for Castel Film and Mediapro Pictures. Meanwhile he was D.o.p. for documentaries and a TV series such as "Lombarzilor 8" produced for Romanian television by Mandragora Movies. He also shot as cinematographer the documentary " Our School" , selected at Sundance 2011."Europolis" is his first feature film as d.o.p. and was shot in various locations in France, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary and Romania.
