Rory J. Saper
Rory J. Saper is rapidly emerging as one of the UK's brightest talents.
Having starred in ‘Til The Sun Rests, which won the Limelight Award for Best Experimental Film 2011, it was Rory's performances in independent projects posted on YouTube which caught the eye of Rufus writer/director David Schultz.
“Rory showed up on the second day of auditions. Our UK casting director Amelia Hashemi found some short videos that Rory had been in, directed by a school friend on weekends. Before he even sat down I thought Rory might be Rufus. He looked very nervous. He’d never acted professionally and the audition process was quite awkward for him. Truth is, I barely remember our first encounter. I was very jet lagged and asked if he could come back the next day. He did. I was still jet lagged and Rory was still very nervous. I don’t know what Rory did but on my flight back to Canada I knew he had the part.”
