Arnold Worldwide Italy and Made in Milan Association are now partners for the MIFF Awards Industry Film Section, which has been divided into two categories: CORPORATE-Industrial films and TRADE-Advertising spot.
Arnold Worldwide Italy, the Communication Agency owned by French Group Havas, manages clients such as Honda, Tele2, Bwin, Acqua Lete, MTV, Moto Guzzi. Last year it was the recipient of the Bronze Lion in Cannes, and this year won the Grand Prix at the Italian Art Director Club. The creative DNA of the agency has always successfully provided the optimal environment for new and young art directors and talented commercial filmmakers.
CEO Maurizio Maresca claimed: “Exhibiting and propounding new ideas to the experience of international Art directors on MIFF stage could be a great way to launch young creative professionals. Art of Commercial Communication meets Art of Filmmaking, which is a highly effective combination where companies can express wide range of creativity in presenting their ideas. With regards to Advertising spots, coming up with original ideas to communicate via images is crucial.”
In 2009 MIFF Industry section will be divided in two international sections. Firstly, Corporate Film Section, for films designed to build knowledge of a specific company, corporate products and/or production processes, and targeted more to a specialized operator. The second, Trade Films, will focus on Classic Advertising Spots with films designed to promote Company products, social meanings and targeted to a public audience.
The selection will be managed by Milanese agency Arnold Worldwide Italy and will also be open to students. Applications are on-line at MIFF website and AWW Italia website. Deadline to apply for both categories is February 28.
