Marco Capalbo
MARCO CAPALBO has written and directed films, music videos and plays. His award-winning narrative short film “Sandman” stars William Hickey and Debbie Harry. His stage directing credits include New York City productions of plays by: Shaw, Per Olov Enquist, Sam Shepard. Marco has also collaborated on several screenplays with Sean K Smith, including “Minamata” about LIFE Magazine photojournalist Eugene Smith. He recently edited “The Promise of Music” about Gustavo Dudamel, which won Best Documentary at the 2008 Los Angeles Latino International film Festival. “3 Days in L.A.” is his feature film directing debut. Finally Marco directed John Eaton’s new opera “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” at Symphony Space in New York in June 2010.
