Phillip Guzman
Born in 1980, Phillip Guzman spent most of his childhood in Europe, where he would stay until college. He attended film school, in Texas, at Stephen F. Austin State University where he graduated with honors in 2004. In 2006 Phillip wrote, directed and produced his first feature: the ultra low budget film The Lawless. The movie went on to win several awards at the 2007 Hollywood HD Film Festival. This is where Phillip Guzman and Mick Rossi, who co-wrote 2:22 and A Kiss And A Promise, first met. Guzman also penned and directed the award winning film Desdemona: A Love Story, which took top honors at Boston International Film Festival and Naples International Film Festival. A Kiss And A Promise is the team’s second outing together and will make its way through the festival circuit later this year.
