Patrick Pasquier
Patrick Pasquier was born and raised in France where he studied History and Anthropology. He continued his career in Mexico where he decided to live. His passion for art and cinema brought him very soon to the stage as a set designer in the feature film El Imperio de la Fortuna (1985) directed by Arturo Ripstein, awarded with the Ariel for best Set Design. Since 1992 Patrick has worked as Art Director in several commercial films for Mexican, European, American and Asian productions. His actual experience with feature films, though, started in 2000 when he was the Art Director for Reny Bartlett’s Eisenstein. Since then he has worked on several films shot such as Blueberry (Jan Kounen, 2004), Bandidas (2006), Fast Food Nation (Richard Linklater, 2006) and Olivier Megaton’s forthcoming Colombiana. Patrick currently works with the theater company Laboratorio de la Máscara as a producer and mask maker.
