Synopsis
Amanda, seven-years old, has a deeply troubled family life. Due to her bitter mother and absent father, murderous intentions and violence pepper her everyday thoughts. She projects her experiences onto her favorite porcelain doll in order to cope with her many emotions.
As each family member dwells on their own feelings of dissatisfaction and loneliness, only the doll knows just how deep the rabbit-hole goes.
Rebecca Cogodi makes her screen debut as Amanda in this haunting drama.

Biography
Natalia Andreadis studied filmmaking at the University of Kent, La Sorbonne and New York University, and has both a BA(Hons) and an MA in Film, as well as being an Apple-certified editor and colourist.
She has worked on commercials, feature films and for award-winning producers including Dan Halsted (“Virgin Suicides”) and Stephen Woolley (“How to Lose Friends and Alienate People”).
Her short film debut, “Without”, entered festival markets in 2009, winning three awards including Best Short Film at the Milan International Film Festival. It has gained distribution as a pre-feature in over 150 cinemas. “A Doll’s Life” is her second professional short film.
