Synopsis
Stanley is twenty. He never goes outside. He likes to play with his clockwork toys and every night his mother kisses him goodnight. The trouble is that Stanley thinks this is all quite normal, until an encounter with a mysterious girl turns his world upside down…

Biography
Victoria Mather is an exciting talent playing in a world that combines stop-frame animation and live-action. Coming from a creative family upbringing, Vicky studied for several years fine-art, painting, photography and experimented with animation. Upon graduating from Kingston University she went on to work as an ambitious creative photographer and designer. Feeling sidetracked from the film industry and with requests from bands to make music videos, her creative experiments led her to animation, and directing in particular became her main focus. In 2008, Vicky obtained a Leverhulme scholarship and CTBF Award to enable her to attend the prestigious National Film and Television School in London. There Vicky recently graduated in Animation Directing; her graduation film Stanley Pickle has received a huge amount of praise. It premiered at the Edinburgh Film festival 2010 and won the McLaren Award for New British Animation and several other awards in LA, Chicago, London, Paris, Russia, New York, Portugal and Bulgaria. Staley Pickle made the long list of 33 Oscar qualified animated shorts in 2010 and is continuing to be officially selected for a growing numbers of festival all around the world. Victoria is represented by Blink Ink. She lives and works in London.
