Derek Tindall
Derek Tindall’s work experience ranges from lighting technician to cinematographer; he worked for several feature films including 28 Days (2000), Cabin Fever (2002) and Sean Penn's Into the Wild, as well as for successful television series such as Army Wives, One Tree Hill and Dawson’s Creek. Derek has also been the gaffer for award-winning cinematographers such as Oliver Bokelberg and Vanja Cernjul. He met director Erica Dunton working as gaffer and 2nd Unit DP on her film The 27 Club (2008), which led to the opportunity to work with her on her latest project, To.Get.Her. Derek is currently working on two documentaries, It’s a Strange World: The Filming of Blue Velvet and The CARE Project.
