Synopsis
LennonNYC
John Lennon loved music, Yoko Ono and... New York City.
Marking the 30th year since Lennon's untimely death, Oscar-nominated director Michael Epstein zooms in on the last decade of John Lennon's life, creating a sort of "love song" about Lennon's romance with New York City, beginning in 1971 when the artist and his wife Yoko move to the city from London and settle in a small apartment in Greenwich Village. Hailed by critics as one of the best documentaries ever done on John Lennon, this film manages to capture the essence of the man, his art, and his love for humanity.
